The United Nation has published 17 Sustainable and Development Goals (SDG) to act as a framework to inspire and direct global development. This framework serves as one of Nomea’s leading investment principles, and is integrated into our screening and evaluation process.
At Nomea, we’re dedicated to investing in climate tech companies that are building a sustainable and accessible future for all, and we are focused on funding technologies that at scale will have a significant impact on several of the 17 SDG’s.
Our investments will be principally aligned with either:
UN SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy- ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy.
UN SDG 13:Climate Action- take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
However, our investments in climate tech companies will also support other SDG areas, including but not limited to:
SDG 2: Zero hunger
SDG 3: Good health and well-being
SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation
SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
SDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities
SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production
SDG 14: Life below water
SDG 15: Life on land
