Nadav Joins 4WARD.VC’s Climate Accelerator as a Mentor

We are excited to announce that Nadav has joined 4WARD.VC’s climate tech accelerator as a mentor to help elite climate tech startups grow and scale their business

4WARD.VC’s “Partners in Crime” climate accelerator is designed for promising early stage climate tech companies in areas including food & agriculture, construction & manufacturing, commerce & circularity, recycling & waste reduction, energy & renewables, and transportation & mobility. It aims to disrupt conventional venture industry practices with an intensive, transparent, and hands-on approach to building and scaling startups via strategy, growth hacking, fundraising, networking and more. Alongside Nadav, there are other 65+ industry expert mentors who are well positioned to unlock unparalleled growth and opportunities.

By focusing first and foremost on business models and growth, this program will support founders in signing first customers and pilots, as well as developing a strong pipeline of potential clients. The program aims to introduce targeted companies to 3-10 prospective customers, which will usually include 2-3+ big name corporate customers or pilots. Leading up to the main demo day event, the second phase of the program emphasizes an immersive deep dive into fundraising, deck development, and pitching to investors. This includes access to a top notch investor network, a feature on The Startup Tank pitch show, and further commercialization of the technology.

How does the “Partners in Crime” climate acceleration program work?

Onboarding 1-2 new startups per month, this intimate 10-week program provides one-on-one strategy and update calls every other week filled with homework, action items, and accessibility to dynamic resources. Companies will receive funding subject to the investment committee approval.

Portfolio companies are selected based on criteria that are run by world class founders implementing SDG tech solutions tackling massive problems, looking at the emissions reductions potential as well as the economic viability of the product or service.

Matt Ward is the managing partner at 4WARD.VC. He is a seasoned entrepreneur in the climate tech space, with several exits, and serves as a strategic advisor and investor in multiple climate tech companies.
