Nomea at King’s College London

Nadav was invited to speak at King’s College about climate tech investments, venture capital and the path of commercializing breakthrough low-carbon technologies.

Climate tech provides a massive opportunity to make a significant positive impact on our planet while simultaneously generating outsized financial returns.

Nadav spoke at King’s College, The Dickson Poon School of Law, about the climate tech landscape and ways in which early stage investments can play a major role in advancing innovation and tackling climate change.

Nadav shared his optimism towards addressing the climate crisis, emphasizing his trust and confidence in human creativity and our ability to transform and decarbonize our global economy. It was a real pleasure speaking with students and young professionals, as climate change is the biggest challenge of our generation and we have the power and the responsibility to drive change on a global scale. Nadav was delighted to discuss career opportunities in the climate tech space, and ways for aspiring investors and entrepreneurs to get involved and work on solving some of the biggest challenges facing humanity.

Throughout the talk, Nadav outlined the investment strategy at Nomea, our framework in assessing potential emissions reductions, and our commitment to continue supporting extraordinary climate tech founders. He also discussed his conviction about certain subsectors and emerging technologies that will experience significant growth in the future.

We would like to thank Yael Lifshitz, senior lecturer and associate professor specializing in energy policy and law at King’s College, for the kind invitation. The enthusiasm and energy of the attending students was contagious.
